Ruth Penberthy is a landscape designer, researcher, and educator practicing in Philadelphia. She works at Langan Engineering where she assists in the design, documentation, and construction of public and private projects both locally and nationally. She currently teaches as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. Ruth graduated with a masters degree in landscape architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minor in Landscape Studies from Smith College.
