This April, a model of Louis I. Kahn's National Assembly building in Dhaka, Bangladesh traveled to the United Nations as part of the exhibition, From Island to Island: The Creative Journey of Louis Kahn. The show was cosponsored by the Permanent Missions of Estonia and Bangladesh to the United Nations and also featured the photography of Arne Maasik. This spectacular model was designed and built by artists Linda Brenner and Bill Christensen and is part of the collections of the Architectural Archives. It is currently on permanent display in the reading room of the Fisher Fine Arts Library.
