Penn Campus Tour with David Hollenberg

Join David Hollenberg, past university architect at Penn and longtime adjunct professor in the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, on a walking tour of campus. This tour will focus on the eastern sector of Penn’s campus, an area of extensive development since 2005. This area of the campus – which, by the way, has not typically been included in Summer Institute tours – richly demonstrates a spectrum of design approaches to new construction and preservation, an evolving landscape design vocabulary, and its own distinctive regulatory complexity. 

The tour will depart from the front entrance of Meyerson.
