The Mobility Data Specification from the Open Mobility Foundation standardizes data sharing practices between city transportation departments and transportation platforms, such as scooter share and bike share, in ways that help cities manage the public right-of-way. In this talk, Jarvis Murray will discuss how the Los Angeles Department of Transportation uses the Mobility Data Specification in their work around dockless mobility. Use cases will focus on regulation, compliance, and equity and include future directions for LADOT.
