In a January 18, 2024 lecture, Catherine Seavitt set forth a series of aspirational values that guide her work, research, and pedagogy as a framework for the collective project of advancing the Department of Landscape Architecture. Seavitt is chair of the department, the Martin and Margy Meyerson Chair of Urbanism, and co-executive director of The Ian L. McHarg Center for Urbanism and Ecology.
