One of the buildings designed by Clayton Monarch (MArch'24) for his thesis project on mass timber began with a standard 16'-0" x 4'-0" CNC-milled ICLT panel. A series of strategic cuts are made to form the composed "scaffolds," and the resulting elevation utilizes all panel offcuts, providing opportunities for further manual finishing.
