DISSERTATION
The rise of modern science and technology, besides the shift from craft to machine, has significantly affected the concept of architecture. This research examines the shifts in the boundaries of architecture in relation to other fields of knowledge, including science, technology, art, and crafts in the Arabic context. It focuses on the relationship between architecture, geometry, and representation in modern Arab architecture by studying the work of two Arab architects: Sayed Karim and Rifat Chadirji.
