[i] Students do not use a license server; license files are distributed/tracked via FreshService. Note that student licenses do not have plug-ins, but the network license in the PC Labs contains them. We may be able to have students use their existing licensing while allowing them to check out the plug-ins from the license server.
[ii] Students should use free AutoDesk Education licenses as normal; only PC Labs and other Weitzman domain-bound PCs use a network license; Faculty laptops can use either our Serialized AutoDesk deployments in BigFix or use the same licensing/methods as students.
[iii] Students do not use a license server to use DesignBuilder Licenses, there’s an activation code instead. See \\juno.design.upenn.edu\Public\Installs\DesignBuilder for more information.
[iv] Rhino 6 educational licenses are purchased by students themselves via the following resellers: Creation Engine, Novedge LLC, or Studica, Inc.
[v] Node-locked in Addams 106 only, specifically; not in Meyerson PC Labs.
