Weitzman ITS does not support the use of Macs in graduate programs, and as such all installers hosted on PennBox are Windows-only.
Adobe Creative Cloud

For the 2025-26 academic year, Weitzman graduate and PhD students are eligible for a free subscription to Adobe CC. Non-Weitzman students can purchase a discounted yearly Adobe subscription for $139.88. The yearly subscription license is usable through May 26, 2026. Access to subscriptions is available via Campus Express - coming soon!

For those who purchased an Adobe subscription for the 2024-25 academic year, your subscription ends on 5/27/25. Users have a 7-day grace period for continued access to your cloud files.
ArcGIS Pro
- Available to install on personal computers. In 2025, Esri's ArcGIS changed to a named license model to access on personal and lab devices. Please email ithelp@design.upenn.edu to request a license. ArcGIS software and licensing instructions are available in PennBox.
Autodesk
Epic Games Unreal Engine for Education
- Unreal Engine for Education is available to download from PennBox to install on personal computers. While the free educational version has the same features as the commercial version, the commercial version and related plugins will not work. To access the commercial versions of Unreal Engine, Reality Scan, and TwinMotion, please download them using the Epic Games installer found on the Epic Games website.
Harmony ToonBoom
- Available to install on personal computers. Students can register for an account on Harmony’s website. The software is subscription based and can be accessed from Harmony ToonBoom’s website.
Karamba3D (Rhino plug-in)
- Available to install on personal computers. Installer and activation instructions are available on PennBox.
Keyshot
- Available to install on personal computers. Installer and activation instructions are available on PennBox.
Microsoft Office Suite
- Available to full-time Weitzman faculty, staff, and students
- Can be installed on up to 5 personal devices

Miro
- Miro is a digital "whiteboard," essentially a blank canvas for sketching ideas and collaboration. It also has a number of templates for various charts, maps, and other visuals. They have a web app as well as desktop and mobile apps for use. Read more at our Miro page.

- Available to install on personal computers. The installer and license may be downloaded for free from the Python Website.
