All software listed below is also available in our computer labs (except ZBrush, which is only available in Addams computer labs).
Weitzman ITS does not support the use of Macs in graduate programs, and as such all installers hosted on our Juno server are Windows-only.
Adobe Creative Cloud

For the 2023-24 academic year, Weitzman students and students enrolled in Weitzman courses can purchase a discounted Adobe subscription via Campus Express. For students who wish to purchase a subscription during the Spring 2024 semester, there is a pro-rated price ($69.88) for use during the remainder of the Spring Semester. The subscription license is usable through May 26, 2024.
ArcGIS Pro
- Available to install on personal computers. Request a license from ithelp@design.upenn.edu.
Autodesk
- Autodesk offers free educational licensing to students. You can enroll and download software at the Autodesk Education website.
DesignBuilder
- Available to install on personal computers. Installer and activation instructions are available on our server: \\juno.design.upenn.edu\Public\Installs\DesignBuilder (must connect with FortiClient VPN to get access, more info at our Remote Access page).
Karamba3D (Rhino plug-in)
- Available to install on personal computers. Installer and activation instructions are available on our server: \\juno.design.upenn.edu\Public\Installs\Rhino 7 Plug-Ins (must connect with FortiClient VPN to get access, more info at our Remote Access page)
Keyshot

Microsoft Office Suite
- Available to full-time Weitzman faculty, staff, and students
- Can be installed on up to 5 personal devices

Miro
- Miro is a digital "whiteboard," essentially a blank canvas for sketching ideas and collaboration. It also has a number of templates for various charts, maps, and other visuals. They have a web app as well as desktop and mobile apps for use. Read more here.
Rhino
- Students are eligible to purchase a discounted Rhino license from Campus Express for the 2023-2024 academic year.
RhinoCFD

RobotStudio

- Limited to 61 seats. When finished using please release so others can use.
- Students can also consider a well-timed use of a 30-day full trial from the Chaos Group website.
ZBrush
- Students can obtain a free 14-day trial (full features) license via the official ZBrush website.
