On Friday, February 26, PennDesign welcomed nearly 70 leading architectural firms and other organizations to Meyerson Hall for Career Connection Day. An annual spring event coordinated by Penn Career Services, the fair is open to all PennDesign students, and this year over 300 attended.
For students, the fair presents the occasion to explore a wide array of career options as well as pursue specific opportunities at firms of interest. For employers, the fair is an excellent way to connect with students, make their work known, and recruit for available full-time post-graduate and summer internship opportunities. As many of the employer representatives are PennDesign alumni, it's a day of homecoming as much as networking.
Participating employers represent the breadth of PennDesign's degree programs, including architecture, landscape architecture, spatial analytics, planning, preservation and fine arts. PennDesign and Penn Career Services extend their thanks to all those who participated:
