DumoLab Research (DLR) participated with 4 recent biogenic projects to the "Atlas for Post-Disciplinary Design" at Temple University Tyler School of Architecture + Environmental Design (AED) last October 30th 2025. The Atlas brought together designers, researchers, and makers who challenge dominant perspectives by working beyond the boundaries of any single discipline, not to reinforce architecture as a singular field but to reframe global narratives—highlighting, recontextualizing, and amplifying stories that disrupt contemporary frameworks and laying the foundation for a new post-disciplinary design language.
DumoLab's post-disciplinary work discussed biopolymer mediated composites from earth, plants, fruit waste and bio-sensors, spanning design, chemistry, materials science, advanced manufacturing, and architecture, and contributing to design and fabrication methods enabling a much needed biomaterials revolution.
