Biddle Residence Collection (199), Project, 1901-1930
The Biddle Residence was built ca. 1902 in Wayne, Radnor Township, Pennsylvania by the Boston architectural firm of Peabody & Stearns in collaboration with Olmsted Brothers, landscape architects.
The collection comprises one original architectural drawing and 24 prints for the Craig Biddle Residence. The collection contains drawings, 1901-1902, for the original design of the house by Peabody & Stearns, and also drawings for additions to the residence and landscape by Francis A. Gugert, architect, Ellen Biddle Shipman, landscape architect, and Robert B. Cridland, landscape architect, executed for Archibald Barklie between 1913 and 1930.
