Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Clarence H. Woolmington spent some 16 years working in Philadelphia with Stuckert & Company under his contemporary F. Russell Stuckert. In the 1940s he was employed at Ballinger & Company. Woolmington continued working as an architect into at least the 1960's with design projects for the Haverford School District and dairy companies.
This collection contains about 350 architectural drawings for projects Woolmington designed between 1916-1968 and project files. Included are 47 original drawings for the Ardmore Theatre on Lancaster Ave.
