Ting Pao Yang Collection (308), Architect, 1902 - 1982
Ting Pao Yang (Yang Tingbao) was one of the first students from China to study architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, completing a bachelors in 1924 and a masters in 1925. He returned to China in 1927, and had a long career in China as an architect and professor. He is known as one of the 'Four Modern Masters in Architecture' in mainland China.
This collection contains water color travel sketches by Ting Pao Yang created between 1925-1927.
