Marco Frascari Collection (104), Architect, 1945-2013
Marco Frascari was born in Mantua, Italy in 1945, studied with Carlo Scarpa at Università Iuav di Venezia, and received his PhD in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Frascari went onto to become an architectural theorist and taught at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, Columbia University, and Virginia Tech.
This collection is the main repository for Marco Frascari's work. It contains architectural drawings and models from Frascari's private practice including including the Arthur Ross Gallery, U. of Penn. and the Enlisted Man's Club, Ft. Dix, and competitions. Also included are over 200 of Frascari's personal sketchbooks from 1974-2012.
