Ballinger Company Collection (174), Architecture & Engineering Firm, 1920-Present
The Ballinger Company is the successor to a series of Philadelphia architectural and engineering firms: Geissinger & Hales, Hales & Ballinger, and Ballinger & Perrot. In 1920, Emile G. Perrot began his own firm and Walter F. Ballinger bought Perrot's share of their partnership, establishing the Ballinger Company.
The collection comprises eight original architectural drawings (ink on linen) for three projects in Philadelphia designed by the Ballinger Company, 1922-1927.
