Lewis William Wyatt Collection (140), Architect, 1777-1852
Lewis William Wyatt is an english architect who studied architecture under his uncles, Samuel and James Wyatt. Wyatt primarily worked as a country house architect and 'improver', though he was also the architect to Middlesex Hospital and Hampton Court. Wyatt's work is representative of stylistc eclecticism, for example using the Tudor style and at Sherborne House, Gloucestershire (1829–34) or neo-classical style at his best known work Willey Hall, Shropshire (1813–15).
This collection contains perspective drawings from 1813 for Wiley Hall.
