Dumont, Jacques

Jacques Dumont (called le Romain) Collection (186), Artist, 1704-1781

Jacques Dumont was an historical and potrait artist, as well as an accomplished engraver.  Dumont was received as a member of the Académie royal de peinture et de sculpture and was the governor of École royale des élèves protegés. 

The Dumont collection holds several of Jacques Dumont's engravings.
