Zantzinger, Borie & Medary
Zantzinger, Borie & Medary Collection (005), Architectural Firm, 1910 - 1929
Zantzinger, Borie & Medary was an office made up of University of Pennsylvania architecture graduates, Clarence Zantzinger (1872-1954), Charles Borie(1870-1943), and Milton Medary (1874-1929). The firm was very successful and collaborated with other prominent architects, including Horace Trumbauer on the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Paul Phillipe Cret on the Detroit Institute of Art. The firm also designed the Washington Memorial Chapel at Valley Forge, the Department of Justice building in Washington D.C., and the Bok Singing Tower in Lake Wales, Florida.
The collection comprises 438 architectural drawings, photographs, and prints documenting buildings and projects spanning the years 1897-1966.
