Frank Schlesinger Collection (368), architect, b. 1925
After graduating from Harvard University with a Master's of Architecture, Frank Schlesinger went on to work for Hugh Stubbins, Marcel Breuer and Louis Kahn. Schlesinger started his own firm in 1956, which despite its small size continues to do a wide range of work in both scale and building type. In addition to practicing, he has been on the architectural faculties of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University and the University of Maryland where he is presently Professor Emeritus.
The Frank Schlesinger Collection documents contains architectural drawings from commissions between 1955 and ca. 2001, professional correspondence and photo prints.
