David Guise Collection (132), Architect & Collector, b. 1931

David Earl Guise established his firm in New York City in 1962 and was one of the founding faculty of the School of Architecture of the City College of New York, where he taught design and construction technology. His architectural design projects have appeared in several professional publications, including Architectural Record, and he published his book, Design and Technology in Architecture in 1985.

The David Guise collection comprises teaching and research files including an extensive collection of teaching slides, all focused on architectural design and construction technology. The collection contains only a small amount of material related to the architectural design projects of David Guise.
